TJ and Stephen's LOVE STORY :
Me and my husband met on November 1st 2014. We met on Craigslist . It was only supposed to be a hot steamy night of passion. But it turned out to be so much more. See The anime Naruto saved on Stephen's phone hooked me. Also the conversations we had that night. Made me want to see him again. And to my delight he agreed. We were truly inseparable. Love is blind. But simeti.es it's spot on I feel. I was a goner the moment he walked up my stairs and into my life. Through all the ups and downs. Trials and tribulations we experienced our love weighs out in the end.
We been married for 2 and a half years. And we are still going the distance. I never knew that I would be blessed 10 fold by God placing him in my life. I thank him time and time again for a wonderful friend and partner. My unconditional man. A gift he took time for. Just for me. Love is real. It can be pain and sadness. But it is never un shore or impossible. If both parties are willing. From us the Jones-McAfee's. It really worth it. Give it to God and see .
Q1: Tell us about your wedding! What was the inspiration behind your day? Did you have a specific theme, style or color palette? Did you incorporate any cultural or religious traditions in any part of your day?
For TJ and Stephen we opted for several Unity and celebration rituals for their love story. We started with the pouring of the sand to make an art piece for their home and decoration. We then lit the unity candles for them to join together with their lights. Afterwards, we Jumped the Broom to honor the traditions of the past in the culture. All ceremonies were a celebration of their union and joining together. The color scheme was embracing the bright colors of Hot Pink and a Deep Turquoise. The matching black ties were created by a local designer that we were inspired by. We re-created a fun picture of the artwork "The Creation of Adam" fresco painting by Italian artist Michelangelo. We had so much fun trying it with the photographer!
Q2: Let's talk wedding décor. How did you decorate your space for the ceremony and the reception? Was any part of the décor DIY?
We let the Belvoir Winery Gazebo be our main decoration of the ceremony. We kept it very simple with the ritual ceremonies and the photos & wine afterwards!
Q5: Let's talk fashion. How did you both choose your wedding day look? Describe the looks in detail.
We chose a modern yet casual feel to our outfits for the day. The shoes made a statement on their own immediately!
