WEDDING: Jason and Rae - St Louis MO 10/11/14

Jen was fantastic from the first time I contacted her. I contacted three or four wedding photographers about our Time Travel/Dr Who wedding, and she was the only one who responded with enthusiasm!
When she came to town for a conference (We live in MO and she is from TX) she took time out of her busy schedule to provide us with an engagement shoot on a beautiful day when everyone else decided they had to be outside too! She was relaxed, fun, and really easy to get along with. It was more like hanging out with a friend than being followed around by someone you hired, and she the most awesome photo ideas. She also was very accommodating when we came up with weird and fun ideas. Since her schedule was so packed in March and we couldn't get the one shot we really wanted she offered to come in early before our wedding and do another shoot at no additional charge!
She was very responsive through out the entire wedding process even though we initially contacted her 14 months before our wedding. She emailed when she hadn't heard from us for awhile, and was happy to chat on Skype for anything we needed to go over. She also amended our contract to allow us to use photos for our at-home businesses and for our groomsmen/caterer to be able to us the photos for his resume.
On the day of our wedding she came dressed in rainbow garb and wearing a weeping angel hat! No one had to wonder who our photographer was in order to stay out of her way! She came up with awesome prop shots (we had few props) and some really fun ideas for our port-a-potties turned TARDISes. She also had a wonderful energy that helped calm my anxiety.
Through out the entire time we sent with her my only regret is that the weather never cooperated for the shoot where Jason proposed to me. However, no matter how awesome Jen is, she cannot control the weather!!! I look forward to getting to see her next time she is in town, and the experiences we had with her are ones we will never forget.---Rae & Jason
